How to Use Access Keys

Access keys are intended for those who wish to navigate this website using the keyboard alone.

The access key system used here is a subset of the UK Government accesskeys standard. Access keys used on this site are shown below:

The access key system is supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 4 and above, and by netscape versions 6 and above.

Using access keys depends on the browser and platform you are using:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 - press "Alt" and the access key corresponding to the link you want to visit, at the same time.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and later - press "Alt" and the access key corresponding to the link you want to visit, at the same time and then press the Enter key.
  • Apple Macintosh - press "Ctrl" and the access key corresponding to the link you want to visit.
