Section 5: Guidance for the Interchange Unit

What does the Interchange Unit do?

The Interchange Unit in Central Personnel Group has been established to help support and co-ordinate the interchange programme. Specifically, the Unit will:

  • offer advice and guidance on interchange to participating organisations;
  • support the interchange managers – individually and collectively;
  • solicit and broker opportunities;
  • manage, co-ordinate and monitor interchange activity;
  • follow-up and evaluate the programme;
  • maintain good relationships with the organisations and develop contacts with other potential partners;
  • facilitate meetings with interchange managers and provide report on progress.
