The Northern Ireland Housing Executive is a regional,
strategic housing authority with responsibilities for delivering
strategies and policies for the residential sector. These strategies
and policies relate to helping people with disabilities; improving
housing conditions; working with other housing providers; delivering
excellent housing services; developing wider access to service through
modernising government initiatives; improving energy efficiency;
providing social inclusion and community development; preventing
homelessness; and, shaping and influencing housing policy through
research.
